Services of the Christian Career CenterThe Christian Career Center offers you the opportunity to: More about Kevin and Kay Marie Brennfleck Kevin and Kay Marie Brennfleck are National Certified Career Counselors (NCCC), which is the highest level of certification for the profession. In 1987 they began Lifework Design, their career services firm in Pasadena, CA. In 1997 they launched www.christiancareercenter.com. Their calling, both within their private practice and with the Christian Career Center, is to help Christian men and women do first-rate career planning with an eternal perspective in mind. As they say in their career seminars: Some day each of us is going to stand before God and be accountable for what we have done with the talents, gifts, time and money He has entrusted to us. The responsibility of stewardship extends to our work, since for most of us, as much as 60% of our lives is spent working. We often focus on the externals: the educational degrees we have earned or titles we have achieved; the authority and responsibility we have in our jobs or the salaries we earn. God, however, cares about the inner person: how we have trained our minds and hearts to be Christ-like; the degree of obedience we demonstrate; how we have invested our gifts and abilities in this world in the service of others; and, how we have endeavored to be salt and light in this world. His calling on our lives must be taken into consideration as we make career decisions throughout the course of our lives and as we make daily decisions about our conduct in the workplace. God cares about your work! As Ecclesiastes 3:13 states, "That everyone may eat and drink, and find satisfaction in all his toil--this is the gift of God." Our approach to career planning is to empower you with the knowledge, skills and tools of the career development field and to guide you in becoming partners with God in your career planning. You are God's unique creation, and He has great things in store for you. Like the servants in the Parable of the Talents (Matthew 25:14-30), however, you have to risk investing your talents to receive a return! The Brennflecks have served the career needs of the Christian community in a variety of ways since 1987. They offer a full range of career services including seminars and workshops for individuals and organizations, individual career counseling, comprehensive career planning programs and outplacement services for organizations. They greatly enjoy counseling, speaking, teaching/training and designing career programs to meet the specific needs of organizations and individuals. In addition to helping thousands of individual men and women with career planning and job search issues, they have provided career programs for Christian organizations including Campus Crusade for Christ, Here's Life Publishers, Wycliffe Bible Translators, the Christian Management Association (CMA), World Impact as well as Christian schools and churches. They are listed in Richard Bolles' best-selling book on career/life planning, What Color is Your Parachute?, as career counselors who work from a religious point of view. Also, they are Certified Career Consultants for Larry Burkett's Career Pathways organization (a division of Christian Financial Concepts). They are married, and have a young son and daughter. They are well-acquainted with the balancing act required to pursue career dreams and be committed parents. They are active in their church, and are grateful to Jesus Christ for giving them purpose in their lives, and making life an adventure!
